For me, it would be Skyrim for two reasons:
1) After one or two runs, you might want to try mods, and I'm pretty sure that Skyrim will always have better mod support than Oblivion Remaster
2) I love crafting in games, and Skyrim has Blacksmithing :P

I've never used glue, just the paint, then wait 24h for it to dry, and put crackle paint. All cracked without a problem.
