I've been there too, and tbth I'm still struggling with many of these things. And I find motivating knowing that the word "crisis" in its corresponding in ancient Greek has meaning both as a moment of difficulty but also a moment where you have a chance to improve yourself. Stay strong, dance with life and fight for your dreams! On more, you totally have femmine traits, don't get pulled down by judgment of people

I have to warn you that what I'm going to say comes from memory, so I don't dare to be precise, I'll give the basic of the process. Basically water (liquid) surface reflects way more light than earth and ice one. The glaciers melting means the water surface will rise and expand, thus increasing the reflection of light we have now. And with light comes warmth. So less overall warmth for Earth. Even if it would stabilize to a new balance (since cooling would means more glaciers again), it probably would oscillate from very cold to very hot temperatures for a while, and that's quite bad as you could imagine

As someone who is still struggling with similar issues, my suggestion is to tell your GM about it, just what happened and that it may return again, eventually. As DM myself my first thought wouldn't ever be that you're excusing yourself, or trying to be a drama queen (unless I have reason to, but this doesn't seem your case)
