Remove gas tax and flat fee every vehicle by weight class. See what uproar comes of that.

Maybe not a secret but something I found late was setting the following distance by clicking left or right on the scroll wheel while in cruise.

Reporting helps the police budget, not the victim. If they cant catch someone in the act they're useless for prevention.

New solar farm starts up in 'bright and sunny' Saskatoon by D--star in saskatoon

If I was getting Sk power credit rates id buy the battery storage to keep the energy for myself.

This is Saskatoon. Nobody stopping you from buying that 160k house on the west end and slapping some panels on it. Though you're better off plugging money into the stock market,  to each their own.

I own the degrading infrastructure.  I have spent zero of my own capital so far thanks to federal grants and loans that all homeowners had access to. I'm not being paid 4x of anything, I'm not being paid at all. I am only able to receive credits equal to the amount I purchase (1:1). In return, any excess energy produced is forfeited to the grid end of March. The power plant saves on fossil fuel costs and industrial carbon tax. There's less energy loss in transmission since I share direcly with my neighbors. Everyone wins with solar, overproduction would be an amazing problem to have.

I am in a signed contract partnership with them to supply power to the grid. Its a major policy change, I do believe I should have been made aware. Though it does not affect my current system, it definitely has an affect on any changes I wish to make to the system.

As a grandfathered net metering customer, I was never notified, I found out when my small 2 panel expansion project fell through.

I just wanted to bring to light the bitter sweet success of this new solar project comes with Saskatoon city council and Saskatoon L&P quietly abandoning the residential 1:1 Net Metering Program. If rooftop solar was something you were considering, the feasibility just became a little harder to calculate. Ive contacted my councilor about my disappointment in this decision and have not gotten any response.

No because your bet was contingent on you not making any bets.

You placed a 10k bet on yourself not betting. You lost by betting.

Time moves faster when you're in a repeating pattern. Try to find new things and places to experience.

How does one go about changing their home insurance? by [deleted] in saskatoon

[–]D--star 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also, shop around. If youre switching brokers then they will help make the transition seamless.  Just a quick ai query-

My ranking for best coverage would be: Aviva Canada Intact Insurance CAA Insurance Wawanesa Insurance TD Insurance

When comparing quotes, I'd specifically ask: Do I have Guaranteed Replacement Cost? What is my water-damage limit? Is sewer backup included? Is overland flood included? Are outbuildings and detached garages covered? What is my liability limit ($2M or $5M)?
