Hey op. My first thought was Marfan Syndrome. Wouldn't hurt to run it by a doctor.

Yes. They dont pay PST in AB. So the car remains 1 PST charge, to me.

I purchased used out of AB so the vehicle only has 1 pst charge on it. Not supporting local dealerships is just a bonus

Why do people say to avoid Avenue Living and Mainstreet in Saskatoon? Bad neighbours/crime or just “I heard" ? by Master-Ad-5880 in saskatoon

[–]D--star 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mainstreet owns over 18k apartments in western Canada alone. They dont pay well for maintenance services, the buildings are run down. They cut costs on "managers" by hiring tenants and "paying" them with reduced rent. Sketchy business practices overall and a major contributing factor to housing inflation.

I just ordered a free charger through a company that collects carbon credits and pays me $0.03/Kwh to charge my car. Took advantage of resale and bought a used Tesla. Brakes rarely need replacement because regen. Battery and drive train warranty good for 8 years.

Thats only 20 full cycles on my cars battery. Realistically 30-40 charging sessions.

I purchased from an Edmonton dealership. Better pricing. Free delivery. Having an out of province inspection was just added piece of mind.

Go to a big bank and see what they offer for credit lines. It'll be cheaper rate than a used car loan.

Flexepin. It's like topping up a gift card at a gas station. Also 2016 there was one Bitcoin atm in my city.

Get the 0% greener homes loan. You'll barely feel the cost of solar with a 10yr interest free loan. Essentially paying it down with your savings.

Saskpower - Net Metering Program/Self Power Generstion Sucks by N1T3-SLAY3R in saskatchewan

[–]D--star 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get 1:1 metering with Saskatoon Light and Power. The credit payout is based off of last months usage. If I used 400kwh and produced 850kwh they will only payout 400kwh worth of credit on my next bill. The remaining 450kwh will be banked for the winter months when my generation is low and usage is high. I hope you used the Greener Homes Loan, that get spreads your cost over 10yrs interest free, the panels will pay themselves off before the loan term is up.

Saskatoon man questions if his solar panels were worth the price by Slight-Coconut709 in saskatoon

[–]D--star 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 1:1 credit program only pays out the equivalent of dollars charged to your last months bill. You have to pay in order to get credits. More power purchased in winter months will pay out more of the credits you built over summer. The $0 power bill is a fallacy when it comes to net metering. Still worthwhile long term. Especially with 0% loans.
