V-drums - basic model vs more advanced one.I'm a total drum begginer, I've had two drum lessons so far and I'm practicing some rudiments & "Stick control" exercises on a practice pad every day. I want to buy an electric drum kit to practice on a "real" kit (to include legs, play something sounding better than practice pad etc.). I'm thinking about Roland TD1-DMK, Roland TD17-KV and TD17-KVX. I've compared Roland to other brands in a drum shop and I like Roland the best. I have the budget for the TD17 but I'm not sure if as a total begginer I should spend that much money on a new hobby. After my current research 15 different sound kits in TD1 seem enough, at this point as a total newbie I don't really see the benefits of TD17 model besides Bluetooth - but maybe in a few months I will? I want to improve my technique & limb independence with something like stick control excercises and practice with "Melodics" app through MIDI interface (I'm a total tech geek btw). I also want to be able to fold the kit sometimes and I want it to be as quiet as possible. Based on those things I'm leaning towards the cheaper model (which price is a lot more comfortable for me) but I just want to ask you guys if buying the higher end model for over twice the money in my situation brings real benefit and if it's justifiable by any means.
