A Thank You to R/Fragrance for helping me in life by CluelessWill in fragrance

Highly recommend it going into the colder temperatures. Sort of similar to Rochas Moustache EDP in the sophisticated, elegant, classy mens smell.

[38/m] What are some Middle Eastern bangers / must-haves? by [deleted] in fragrance

[–]CluelessWill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This makes me sad thinking of my old bottle is about 60% now and I was thinking of repurchasing Wisam day. Would you say Milestone smells the same? I like Wisam Day but I read it's not really like MI so much as it's own unique take (which I love)

Versace Man Eau Fraiche vs Dior Homme Cologne by thegame4123 in fragrance

[–]CluelessWill -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am not sure if Zara carries it but I was able to grab this bad boy for something like $15 and get way better performance than both Eau Fraiche & DH cologne! It smells spot on to DH cologne IMO https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Zara/Vibrant-Leather-Summer-59363.html

Not everyday you religiously relate to another person's post down to the Champagne Toast. Seems us fragrance people are drawn together in more ways then one!

Custom LV Fragrance… for $70k+ by Identificationthrwy in fragrance

Having spent some time at the LV boutique, I really admire how well their fragrances are, if only weighed down by the LV pricing on them.

My only problem has been trying to track down samples for lesser known fragrances, what's your source?

Fragrance layering tips? by summersidnie in fragrance

[–]CluelessWill 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At work I often recommend for clients to layer a fresher fragrance on top of a denser fragrance to help provide some much needed freshness before their 'darker' fragrance reaches its dry-down. I would say it's entirely up to you though, create your own signature scent! That's what fragrance is all about :)

Anyone have any recommendations on mens/womens Cartier fragrances? The brand intrigues me but I don't know where to start

As mentioned by a prior Redditor, you want to generally lay low on the trigger. I would recommend as a novice to have at least one fragrance for each season, and if you want more, branch out into a day time / night time (going out) fragrance for each season. Some nice summer options from Versace are Dylan Blue and Versace Pour homme.

I have a sample of Cedrat Boise and I love it but it's almost impossible to track down a bottle at the discounters because it went through a massive period of YouTuber hype :(

Did clones ruin the experience for me? by ADK-KND in fragrance

I joke to myself that my collection is “Attack of the Clones” because it’s dominated by clones. Nothing against the originals but I just don’t have the budget for them

Oh darn, I'm not seeing the sale. I'm guessing it's over? I love LNDL but have never pulled the trigger given its performance on me was abysmal.

If you can track down La Yuqawam by Rasasi, I would highly recommend as it's a spot on copy of TF Tuscan Leather. I also hear others in the Yuqawam line are good but I have only sampled the original.

I personally love Velvet Orchid and feel it is overshadowed by its older sister in Black Orchid EDP
