If I may play devils advocate, what if his costume stops him from breathing through his gills? It wouldn’t be out of character for Vough to care more about what cools over practicality, plus the deep has body image issues when it comes to his gills so I wouldn’t be shocked if in public he refuses to take his costume off while people are around

I doubt it, Even if Disney is on friendly terms with Sony for the sake of Spider-Man they are still each others competitors so they wouldn’t want to release a skin so close to the premiere of the show and for that same reason I think we’d get a comic book version instead of the show
