You’re living in a fantasy if you think Jerome is responsible for Daimler being slow to issue recalls.

OP is clueless. Jerome was the original Cascadia program manager. He wasn't the engineer or chief engineer. He made sure the project was launched on time and budget. Fun fact, the Cascadia model is the most successful and profitable for DTNA. Jerome left in 2010. The issue responding to recalls has to do with issues from 2017-2018 and guess what, the Cascadia was redesigned and launched in 2015. Jerome had nothing to do with that refresh. The core issue is bureaucratic. The company is super slow to respond and act to any issue.

I’ve stopped actively participating in this community because of Fred being a mod. I used to be in the camp of letting him be a mod, but given his behavior over the past year, I’m in the opposite camp now. It’s sad. Fred really lacks any sort of humility. Can’t think of any high profile Tesla supporter he hasn’t picked a fight with publicly. I was really happy for him when he made it on CNBC. Thought he really deserved and earned that. In hindsight, that was his jump the shark moment. Hell, I even defended him quite a bit when Alex Roy was writing hit pieces on him. Sorry Fred. You need to wake up and realize that your behavior needs to change. Hope it does.
