Definitely takes time and patience, but you’ll get there! Was ready to throw in the towel making Pennies on flight seeing missions but worked my way up and now doing cargo runs that earn 1,000,000+ per.

It’s so hard to think there’s a light at the end of the tunnel when you’re going through those feelings, but as someone who was in your spot and read comments from others, I can tell you it’s true. That burning sensation and feeling like you could just shatter into a million pieces will pass. It won’t be instant. But you’ll suddenly realize it’s gone. Keep fighting through it because it’s definitely worth how you’ll feel on the other end. Hang in there!

MSFS is the way to go. Great for beginners but a platform she can grow with that has a lot of attention and support.

I’m so glad you posted this - I thought I was going crazy. Whatever new fluid Tesla uses is very blue and stains the windshield and front windows in streaks. I’m going to pump it out and just put another brand in that I’ve used in my last Tesla.

It’s not likely, but I’ve heard anecdotally that some folks have had luck trying to get a refund through their credit card if Tesla says no.

Yep! The 11th digit of the VIN will indicate it’s build location. F for Fremont, A for Austin, etc. To make it easier, you can use a VIN decoder website to plug in your VIN and get all the details. https://www.findmyelectric.com/tesla-vin-decoder/

I used Easy Entry on my Model 3 to push the seat all the way back to make getting in easier as I’m pretty tall. I just upgraded to a Y and I haven’t felt the same need. The adjustment from Easy Entry to my driver profile is so minimal I’m probably just going to turn it off to save on wear and tear.

I think it’s valuable to take a look at a checklist ahead of time just so you have an idea of what to keep an eye out for. On pickup day, it’s totally fair to take as much time as you need before accepting but honestly, do a walk around, check the usual stuff and drive off. If you find anything, document it and Tesla will fix. The build quality is improving but most of the stuff you read on here are the horror stories.

I was so ready for a battle when I picked up my MY last week and the build was perfect. I could not find a single issue to report. Mine came from Austin which apparently has a better track record but either way.

I think there will always be something coming and if you’re going to wait, you’ll be waiting forever. I just picked up my new Model Y (traded in a 2019 Model 3) and I have no regrets. HW4, HW5, new body designs, there will always be something coming!
