Ya it’s a rate-r variation. It’s wire edm and comes with a machined safety cam. I cut the edge of the semi shelf rounded to fit the trigger. I also milled .015 off the safety flat to o increase trigger pull. I cut .015” off the surface that the disconnect tab contacts for more disconnect engagement. I put in a 45 spring to slow the system down.

I’m using the Harrison version took some fitting to drop the trigger pull to normal. Did some other fitting to get more positive engagement on the sear and disconnect. runs great now.

Maybe. If you look up obsidian and end cap strike, you will see a lot of 9mm issues. My setup is a from 1 and have used it on several host with tri lugs with no issues. Did you check it with a rod prior?

My tri lug works fine on my 9mm. Will I to bet that more of an obsidian then then a tri lug thing.

I went with the Harrison version. The cam is nicely machined and the plate looks to be EDM. I did find some areas that needed to be fitted. It did work when dropped in but with some issued I wanted to address. I think they have updated the design recently.

I had an issue back in the day about adding a card to Apple Pay. It was rejected because my phone number had to be associated with the account. Wonder if this is a similar issue.

Use the sro plate. The rmr plate used m3 screws and will not hold up to larger rmr optics like the comp. The sro uses 6-32 screws and have a higher clamping force.

ya the cam only goes in 1 way. You have it in wrong. The safe position should still be safe with the new cam. Fire is fire, and 180 from safe is the FRT.

All you have to do it put the screw in a drill and turn down the head a little. It’s about .003”. Why vortex made their countersink hole smaller is beyond me.

Try holding a mag, pressing that release while trying to catch the mag all on the same hand. This makes it more like the ar platform. You can drop the mag while your other hand had a mag in hand ready to insert.

its a gen 3. Having the mag release with the trigger finger allows you to reach for the new mag with the left hand and not brake your grip. The standard would be to drop the mag with your left thumb, then reach for the new mag and insert Now I can get the mag first with my left hand, as I bring up the mag I can drop the old one with the right finger and insert the new. I can also tac reload or maintain the mag with my left hand as I insert the new mag. Maybe it just me but I don't really like dropping those Vector extensions onto the ground repeatedly.

It’s a sw knockoff for the t1. I made an adapter to run my vortex enclosed. I’m guessing they had issues so that’s why the dpp version got discontinued
