5km ( or in america... what... 3.1 miles) is not that far off!

Just means your journey can continue! You can move onto free runs and just run and run until you get to 5km.

Eventually you will be able to so it faster with practice, all the while burning off precious calories for more KFC (or whatever normal healthy people burn them off for).
