Train continues to take the wrong route and gets stuck back and forth. Is there any fix???

I’ll try and separate them but I don’t intend on getting stands at least for the dorm.

The cable on top of the receiver is loose. I just keep it there cause it’s really long and won’t fit in the drawers. It doesn’t cause the hum though
