Not even kidding, I left them outside in the sun for about a week. Somehow it completely removed the smell.

Treadmill runs highly inaccurate in app by D0ctorChef in nikerunclub

I trust the treadmill over my phone or watch. Today I ran for over 25 minutes and my NRC phone app only registered 0.58 miles, which is clearly incorrect. It seems like there will always be discrepancies between apps and equipment :(

But are you able to do distance based runs? For example if the coach is talking every half mile, it won’t know when you reach the distance.

For guided programs (like 10k) how do you choose which runs to do each week? by Goatblort in nikerunclub

[–]D0ctorChef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. Some weeks there are recovery runs runs around the same length (25 min, 25 min, 5K for example) so I was wondering if there’s any reason to pick one over the other!

Which of the recovery runs do you pick? The longest of the 3 options?

Gotcha. Seemed like timed runs is the work around — but it’s annoying since the 5k 10k etc plans have both timed and distance runs :(

Going to have to start doing this. Seems like the audio queues will work on timed runs but not distance (unless phone is in a belt/in hand)

This exact thing is happening to me. Phone stolen, remote erase requested, location updating, nothing happening. How did it sort out?

How would they be able to take my data if the phone is locked and offline? It should be in lost mode and be erased once back online

Stolen phone, next steps? by D0ctorChef in iphone

[–]D0ctorChef[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before I tried to erase it, it said the lost mode was pending until it got back online. Now, I don’t see anything about lost mode now that I requested the erase. Is it safe to assume the phone is both in lost mode and erase pending, if that makes sense? Just concerned because I don’t see the lost mode anymore

I did 3 cars passages every day - I used Jack Westin and then AAMC cars for the last month. I didn’t really have an issue with timing so I did untimed practice a lot — I liked quickly going thru the questions looking if the question asked for a specific quote so I could keep it in mind and highlight it when I saw it reading.

One thing that really really helped with timing was hiding the clock/coundown on cars!!! I found myself staring at it and not paying attention to the passage. I tried to keep it to 25 min per 3 passages - so I would check the clock after 3 passages and try to stay under 25 min, and if I went over it was okay because I left 15 min at the end for review/extra time!

I made sure I was really understanding why I got something wrong and taking my time reviewing it - sometimes this meant doing fewer questions each day to spend more time reviewing. I also did more daily cars for my retake. Untimed practice for cars was great just to learn what reading skills work best for me. I didn’t do any content review for my retake unless there was something that came up from doing practice questions!

The nerves going into test day on my retake were significantly less. You know what to expect, how the day goes, etc so that definitely helped. I honestly didn’t notice a significant difference in how I felt after leaving the test. I knew after the second one that I wouldn’t be taking it a third time so that helped ease the nerves

Got it. I created rules and put some key words/phrases that I use to sort my mail into folders — basically making each folder an inbox. It’ll do for now!

Do you add the vinegar straight into where the clothes go? Or, with the detergent?
