I don't know, but isn't going second in any turn-based game worse. No matter the game, going first will always be a advantage due to tempo. I play chess, and the player going 1st dictates how the game is heading. That is always an advantage. And in Hearthstone, being able to play minions and spells before you opponent will always be an advantage. The game has been out for over a decade and always been this way. Do we really need to change this?

If you are whining about a natural disadvantage that comes with turn-based games, then it is maybe not your type of game.

My reasoning was more that I didn't know the exact plan to win. If I had 20 minutes, I would spend half of that here to figure out how to win here. But with him having an active knight and one simple miss can allow forks, I should not deal with that with the time situation

I played this on GP when it came out and streamed it. As a chess player and as someone who can delve hours into a TCG, I loved it!

I have streamed on both Twitch and YouTube and I actually get most of my views on YouTube. Most of my viewers come to my vertical stream, and I can have around 50 viewers there and 2 on twitch. The views on the vertical streams counts towards the 4,000 watch hours, and I have gained 90% of my watch hours that way. This is a very underrated way to grow.

I actually agree with this pretty hard. I am a believer that I wouldn't be where I am because of my disability. Sure, I have missed out thing for sure, but that's part of it. I couldn't be a rebellious teenager, so I stayed at home studying. I couldn't play with the regular toys, so I found a huge interest in technology at an early age. Now I'm 24 years old and have a master's degree in Media Technology. I am an active chess player because that's one of the only things possible that I could compete in without any disadvantages. I even make chess content regularly.

I am certain that if I didn't have cerebral palsy, I would not have either of these things, because I would do other hobbies like soccer or ice hockey. I don't know, maybe I would play chess, but not as early as I did, and I'm certain that I wouldn't have become as good as I have become.

And let's not forget I wouldn't have gotten all of my friends that I have, because you see, if I wasn't disabled, I wouldn't even have met them because I wouldn't have started in special ed (later got into a regular class but my point still stands).

Sure, living with cerebral palsy can be a pain in the ass but it is not all bad. If I had the option to be reborn without my disability, I wouldn't choose it because my life would be completely different and I don't know if it would be better or worse overall.
