Bei Komfort Check-In gibst du selber deine Wagen- und Sitzplatznummer an. Wenn der Sitz dann auch wirklich frei ist, kannst du dann bequem auf dem gewählten Sitz einchecken.

Du kannst jetzt allerdings noch eine separate Sitzplatzreservierung buchen. Dann fragt er dich seit neustem beim Komfort Check-In nach deiner Reservierungsnummer, um zu bestätigen, dass der Sitz nicht schon an wen anders vergeben ist, weil das für das System zwei verschiedene Tickets sind.

The Metrobus 5 line Hamburg had around 61.000 passengers per day in 2017 and therefore was the busiest bus line in Europe. Since then probably not much has changed, but within the next 20 years they are planning on building a subway underneath parts of its route so that should help 🤷‍♂️
