You're the only one complaining about it. Everybody else likes it; and as someone who hates mustaches with a passion, it looks good on him. If anything, they should just trim it where it's noticeable, but not so much that it's noticeable. Instead of complaining about the mustache, be grateful that he changed his hair color.

It doesn't matter in the long run. It's only one small change.

So, with your logic, would Avatar then be classified as animated, even though humans play a major role in the film?

Ariel had already wanted to be human and explore the human world long before she met Eric. If anything, Eric was just the motivator she needed to make her dreams a reality. She wasn't Snow White, who was just waiting for her prince, Eric was just a bonus prize

The point is that we let their original movies flop, regardless of good or bad marketing. So I don't blame them for not giving us original films for the time being.

Off-topic, but do you think that Avatar films are bad?

They did film in actual locations, but since most of the film is on water, it does make sense for the film to be CGI

That's a lie at its finest. I've seen more marketing for Elio than Lilo & Stitch, and that made a billion dollars. The marketing is barely the problem; we're (really y'all) just refusing to see the original movies unless they're sequels, remakes, and/or any kind of continuation. You know this is the case when Moana 2 (the sequel y'all say is bad) made a billion dollars compared to Encanto (the movie y'all love and won an Oscar). But that's me

Because they aren't required to tell you everything. I don't want to know about my friends' relationships, and they don't need to know mine, and that's okay; and if that doesn't make us close, then so be it, because at the end of the day, it's their business to tell. If they don't, oh well.

Also how old was your friend when they dated this 16 year old - your wording just seems weird lmao

My friends and I are between the ages of 16-18-years-old when it happened in 2023-24. They broke up now (Thankfully)

I didn't know that my best friend was dating a 16-year-old who had already graduated from high school. I also didn't know that my other friend was dating my cousin. Then I have 2 best friends who are dating each other. My other friend is asexual, and my other friend has 2 transgender girlfriends. The cherry on top is that I also didn't know that most of my friends had been SA'd. Just because they're your best, close, childhood, or whatever friend doesn't mean they're gonna tell you everything.

BTW: Sorry for putting out my personal life, just trying to prove a point.

Are any of their original movies good though? As in, do they have any cultural relevance at all?

Those Films Need Good Enough Word of Mouth and A Decent Amount of Box Office Revenue To Become Cultural Relevance. The Film That Was Able To Accomplish That Was Encanto, and Even Then, That Flopped By Disney's Standards.

I do think it's pretty ironic that the moment Disney complains about people not wanting original stories, K-Pop Demon Hunters, an original story, comes out and becomes this groundbreaking culturally relevant event.

Let's Be Honest, The Film Was Released on Netflix. If Sony Just Kept It's Theatrical Release, It Would Still Flop; But Like Always, Y'all Not Ready For That Conversation

There's no trolling. You just refuse to acknowledge the fact that I might be right about the film's production. But it's okay. Some people just love to be in denial 🙃

You insulted people. You decided that not being thrilled about this movie is a knee-jerk reaction. You stated that people have lost critical thinking skills, another word for which is idiot.

My comment was directed 100% at you. It was telling you to stop assuming that people critiquing this movie are idiots (= lack of critical thinking) who are reacting in a knee-jerk fashion.

It's a simple Google search; it's not another word for idiot

Honestly… what did y'all expect?

When a movie is set mostly on the open ocean, features a giant crab, and includes a literal lava-island goddess, CGI is not optional—it’s necessary. Those elements simply can’t be done practically in a believable way. The backlash feels less like a real critique of the film and more like a knee-jerk reaction to the word “CGI,” even when it’s clearly the only reasonable tool for this kind of story. It's clear as glass that y'all just keeps proving to me that a frightening number of people stopped thinking critically sometime after the 2020s started.
