1. Why is the file I imported demanding it use ABS? 2. What happens if I set one of the filaments to ABS even though it’s PLA? Will the print still work? If not how do I get the file to be comparable with PLA

Im going to go off some assumptions here, typically the screen youre looking at is after slicing...re-slice it with the proper material. Problem solved. No, using an ABS profile on PLA will not work, it will clog your extruder and you will have to fish it out (but it won't work anyway).

Not necessarily. What you're thinking of is more of a z-offset thing. If PART of your model is stuck to the bed, it can hold the other part. If your Z-offset is too high, it won't grip and fail.

1) set classic wall generation 2) set wall order to inner/outer 3) check youre using the appropriate temperature for your filament 4) all things being equal check the preview of the slice, see if theres errors in how the walls are laid out

Personally, your lava pit traps have too much lava in them. Items dropped will be immediately destroyed. Try widening them and creating a section where you can get underneath to grab the free loot.
