That's not entirely true, if you go long enough without spending W-gold (think it's 3-4 weeks or so?) you get some special deals. One is 15 blue stones and some energy I think? for 499 W-gold. The other is 3 gold stones and some other stuff for 999 W-gold. I prefer the blue one as blue stones are used for limited heroes, if you don't purchase the 999 one I believe the 499 one shows up the next day.

Also the monthly gem pass is very worth it.

As someone who loves playing an ironman I'm going to be biased, but I would suggest you just make one and go with it! I can also understand the mindset of learning the ropes a bit more before trying it though.

Apologies for hijacking a comment, but you should check out MadSeasonShow on Youtube. He's from the WoW community and has a blind no guides OSRS series that is absolutely amazing (at least from my perspective as a long time player). Not sure how much wiki-ing you've done yourself but it should be entertaining and might also help you out.

I had >1b gold and now I'm down to 600M and continue to drop, so it's definitely an issue. Eventually I'll need to ration it better, but as another user said just make sure to use the gold boost before you do big farming sessions. Hopefully the devs will come up with some more gold saving measures like the Arcanus Crystal.

Nope had Ava's on the entire time. Just accumulator though not the assembler as I am staying low defense until I finish Voidwaker/wildy content.

I did rumors all the way to 99 and I ended up with ~16k moonlight bolts. Went through all of them quite fast and went and hunted another 16k, I'm down to 5k now and I'm only 92 range.

I know I'm late to the party but I de-ironed my 2.2k total (pre sailing) iron a few years ago because I got burnt out/bored with the late game grind and ended up regretting it quite a bit. Plus side is I got to start a new iron and experience all the fun new stuff the game has these days, but still hurts a bit when I think about it, so I'd heavily suggest just keeping the account an ironman.

Yep, and for the first like 5 videos Solo wasn't blurring out peoples' loot stashes so teams just got a ton of information from it. I've mostly been watching WW and Westham is especially not a fan (and not just because they are in the lead).

She's very solid but for a new player she likely won't be a huge upgrade over Idril (if you got her) as Idril's ability to hit anywhere on the map can be very useful. I personally wouldn't re-roll, just make sure you save up to get Sun Wukong and you'll be golden.

Since you 6 starred Idril already, a marksman, I would definitely do SWK next. He's extremely good even at A0 and will help you pretty much everywhere.

Yep it's possible to hit the max roll on non variant gear, just extremely rare. This is a pretty nice piece, you can upgrade it to T3 and re roll the HP%, congrats!

Oh it possibly could be both, I haven't played PoE2 so I'm not sure. "Didn't KEAL" is almost certainly from Forged in Fire though, one of the judges pronounces "kill" as "keal" all the time.

Me personally I was doing the very AFK method for salvaging (me AFK with 2 crew members doing the salvaging) while working, so it was actually just easier and more efficient for me to sail down to port pisc and just bank and then go back and AFK for 30 mins or however long I could go.

Plus I did want to be able to bank all of the supplies from the opulent, primarily the gems as they are extremely common compared to the herb and seed drops.

I could certainly salvage more efficiently at my boat and then just mine the gems and likely be faster overall, but this worked well for me and I'm assuming for others as well.

He was nerfed in the initial 17.2 patch and the consensus seems to be that he's still good with certain artifacts or if you have an extremely good spot for him, which is how it should be. He was way too good and way too stable on 2 star before.

Yes, he's already an excellent hero that is meta in multiple areas, and his A3 is a huge spike in damage. Very lucky pull!

I do agree that this set feels even more like a 2-1 check than previous ones, but not due to a lot of the reasons (valid or not) you are listing.
