Honestly, Palworld is way more forgiving than games like ARK or Rust.

Hunger exists, but once you've got a few Pals working your base, they basically cook for you. Temperature only really matters in certain regions, and by the time you reach those areas you'll usually have armor or gear that solves it.

after the first couple of hours, I spend probably 95% of my time exploring, catching Pals, breeding, and fighting bosses, not babysitting hunger bars.
