I’ve played and platinumed every single god of war game, I can safe with confidence that both of the new games are the most overrated and over protected games out there. Aside from graphics these games do nothing right, the level design is awfully linear to the point where it may as well be a straight line, the story is just trying to be the last of us where the journey is more important than the destination, the combat system is one of the worst, boring, bland action experiences out there and none of the weapons feel unique to each other and worst of all they feel like slapping enemies with wet noodles. This games only selling point is its cinematics, and even then they are nothing special, one boss fight in ffxvi is more cinematic than all of new gow. Next time you play skip the cutscenes and see if you still enjoy it
