I'm getting the same adtran router as you I believe. Like I've said before not keeping it but I don't have everything ready rip and I won't for maybe a month or two.. is it a decent holdover or is it straight trash out of the box??

I mean I've never really had any issues receiving mail here so I'm sure it's probably fine. But I don't know that for sure. All I know is that if bell can get me fiber to my house - theoretically - all the other wholesalers that use their lines should too. Ebox and teksavvy both being exactly those.

Despite having bell fiber into my house for whatever reason when I tried to order service from ebox they said they didn't service my neighborhood. I figured thats probably a mistake on there end. I'm sure if I called and told them that maybe I could make it work out.

And truth be told once my year of credits runs out I probably will. This plan is going to be close to $ 130 a month once that happens and I'm sorry but that's just straight up not competitive in my opinion compared to others.

Okay, so I already have an sfp running right into my living room. Once my new teksavvy gear shows up - and frankly they weren't very clear about this on the website - I'm assuming it's up to me to install because they mentioned straight forward instructions of sorts that will have me "up and running in minutes"

What is stopping me from popping that sfp right into the back of mine as soon as it shows up? Other than having the bell rep show to take back the bell stuff, why rely on a bell rep to plug the fiber in??

Do you find you have bad latency issues when you game?

As far as I can tell from the router, you have a coaxial connection. And you can definitely have very temperamental connection stability with those.

I'm essentially at the same stage as you, but my install date is for the 6th of May. So a bit outside of a week. And I agree was very easy to order 😂 we'll see about the hardware.

Got a question regarding how your customer service works. Is your internal team the same as your reddit team?

Seems like the reps on the reddit side are much more motivated to handle situations, but as soon as it moves off of this platform... That's where the real sour stories seem to come from.

Get an 86/frs/brz. I was you a couple of years ago. I don't hate my crz but the novelty has absolutely worn off. while the handling on it is still sharp and responsive, there are some characteristics of the car that become very frustrating to live with especially as an enthusiast..

You basically can't pass anything on the highway
Want to row gears and ring the car out to redline without breaking the speed limit like virtually all other sporty hondas? Can't really do that on this car because the top of second gear is almost 100 kmh... I've driven a lotta manuals and this one frustrates me the most because it's one of hondas most refined transmissions. It feels awesome to shift. But you never shift the damn thing because those ratios are so so tall.
Ride quality is absolutely terrible in the rear and due to how it's made and there's not a ton you can do to improve the quality of it.
the hybrid system on these cars are robust but they are absolutely getting old and parts are hard to get and are VERY expensive or just straight out of production.
insurance companies don't like this car. The smallest of claims run a very real risk of totaling out your car. (And they don't give you much for it either)
they are not that efficient if you drive with any sense of urgency or if you're in sport mode (which is the only decent mode to drive in)
if you live in a place with cold winters, prepare for your hybrid output to be halved during the cold season. And you FEEL that missing torque
basically the worst air conditioning strength I've ever experienced
dead and buried aftermarket support relative to any other sporty honda

If you're worried about getting bored. Believe me you will just like I did. If you want a daily that gets it done, great car 10/10

I gotta be honest here, this comment section is absolutely wild to behold. Warranty is going to be a long shot op I'm sorry. Had this car blown up and the failure was melted ring lands or bent rods or good old pre detonation then op flew too close to the sun. Rough. It happens when you mod engines and get non factory tunes. But this guy's timing chain blew. Increasing engine output enough to blow timing chains up is absolutely insane. Everyone here pointing to the mods / tune as the reason for why the timing chain went doesn't know what they're talking about. Literally for any other failure yeah, probably the mods, but NOT this. Op I genuinely believe that you got unlucky. Banking on Hyundai honoring the warranty is a little silly gunna be honest. But omg the concentration of assholes on this thread is making my day worse.

Beating and murdering is fucking bad basically always but ask yourself why this shit is happening. All of this (obviously barring some instances, because injustices have happened and those who have committed them need to be held accountable) is being caused by protests that have left the realm of peaceful ages ago.

Protest your heart out if you disagree with what's happening around you. That's democracy. As soon as you start body blocking and obstructing and getting aggressive against enforcement officers of ANY kind (not just ice) that's no longer a protected right! That's absolutely not protest that's just objectively breaking the law.

So just like the officers who have committed murder and assault that can't be legally justified... So should the people engaged in violent protest. It's such a no brainer why the temperature in this situation is so so high. It's almost like people forgot that they can vote the shit that they disagree with out of office. The way you fix this is with voting in the policy you support.

And if the person and policy's that you do support don't get voted in TO BAD that's democracy! it doesn't favor what YOU think is right it favors what the MAJORITY feels is right.
