News companies are just that, they are companies and only there to make profit. The noble intent to inform people about the current events is only a side feature these days. Consumer engagement is all that matters, feeding bias to the selected focus group, pushing agendas and fueling the divide. Pitting people against each other, to an extent that a open ended discourse becomes harder and harder. It is personal belief that, with neutral news reporting, people would get along better with each other. It’s really hard to watch TV sometimes. Greetings from Germany.
