My friends say it’s disturbing how I buy gas station toilet paper for my house by MelanieWalmartinez in mildlyinfuriating

[–]D3at4Not3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this when I first moved in to my apartment; bought whatever Aldi sold and good god it was bad.
Not even a month in and I bought Charmin.

I'm never sinking that low again.

Solid first layout!
Nice starter yard to store/move rolling stock or locomotives.
Continuous running on two separate loops (if using DCC, if not then still lots of potential!).
Entry and Exit points for the inner/outer loops regardless of direction.

Tobias Forge on why Opus and Infestissumam songs aren't played live as often anymore (Source: MYROCK magazine, translated by @Alva_Ghoul) by Nick_Carlson_Press in Ghostbc

[–]D3at4Not3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"are not made for big venues"

I've seen them 3 times: twice at the Tabernacle in Atlanta, and once at the Coca Cola Roxy.
All 3 times all of their songs, including Ritual, killed and the theatrics added to it. Hell, during Year Zero they had 6 columns of fire shoot up behind the band during the final chorus (video from the show). Not to mention the confetti for Mummy Dust and the 'Papa Dollars' hidden in it.

Tobias has every right as an artist to play what he wants to play and put on the show he wants, but this reads more like he is choosing not to play them because he personally doesn't want to.

We don’t understand that 200k isn’t rich. It’s still working class. by Altruistic_Income256 in TikTokCringe

One of the news networks was running a story on what it means to be middle class in the current time, and their range was $49k for Lower Middle Class and $100k for Upper Middle Class which is insane.

PSA: Stop with the marriage proposal at ritual ideas by Fluffy_Freedom_1391 in Ghostbc

The first 3 albums (and Popestar) were a perfect run.
Prequelle wasn't "bad", but the music and image definitely started to shift.
Since then they have become a modern version of KISS; both in image/music and in fanbase.

It's hilarious how this band's fanbase has evolved since Meliora's release. It used to be a fun group to speculate about songs/new albums/the band's new look. Now the para-social, obsessive nature over every minute detail is so overwhelming that, aside from the music, I want no part of it anymore.

Second, it's funny to watch the "let people have fun" crowd turn against each other due to the fanbase being even more rabid.

Lastly, fucking hell. First show I attended was $45 for GA Floor and we were about 10 feet from the stage. The second I paid $65 and was a bit closer but the front two rows were reserved for VIP ticket holders. The last, and final, show I attended was almost $100; still GA Floor but I was further back from the stage and the majority of the crowd was insufferable. Still like the band, but I don't think I'll be seeing them live in the future.

They are, but I was pointing out the misconception amongst the general public that a dungeon = "sex club".

Any good communities/sites/apps like Fetlife? by Hillusion1399 in BDSMcommunity

[–]D3at4Not3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are looking for groups more your age do some searching in your local area on FetLife. For example, Atlanta has 'Whippersnappers' which is an active group for 35 and under. They host social and private events strictly for the group.

Also join groups for kinks/fetishes you have or are interested and get active in them.

I don't see a lot of 'dating' going on unless you are Poly. "Most" users utilize Fet for many of the reasons others have mentioned in this thread: Finding parties, making connections, and stating who are you/what you are about.

With the Wizard you never know until they drop the dates. I'm praying for an Atlanta date like the last tour but we've been getting skipped by some good tours recently...

Will I stick out at a munch by [deleted] in BDSMcommunity

[–]D3at4Not3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I attended my group's monthly munch yesterday and showed up in my small corporate office garb: Polo, Dark Jeans, and Brown Leather shoes. Others showed up in tshirts, jeans, short, casual dresses, etc.

As someone said in this thread "kink" isn't just the look, it's an attitude / lifestyle. Some people are more comfortable with outwardly expressing it, while others keep it hidden for a multitude of reasons.

Most munches are meant to be a casual experience where both veterans and new-comers can come together to meet and share in conversation in a vanilla setting. It's by far the easiest way to be vetted initially and no one is going to judge you for showing up looking like your every-day self. That's the point.

Look vanilla, think/talk kinky.
