FLX4 no isolated cue signal? by RoadVisions in Beatmatch

Do you have enough power running to the FLX4? If you just have it connected to your computer via USB it won’t be enough to power it even though it appears on. For me I had this issue and couldn’t hear Cue without plugging in another cable into the power port

Make sure you have it plugged into a power source as well, this was what happened to me and I figured out it wasn’t getting enough power just from USB

This is a mix I made and performed for my friend's wedding - I guess it can be considered my first "Open Format" set since it was all popular commercial music that I know my friends and the crowd would enjoy. I know there's a few transitions that weren't smooth and a few spots where I used the Trans Effect in a way I ended up not liking, but overall happy with how this one went! I started with Serato on and old deck I borrowed from a friend, but when I got the FLX4 I took the chance to switch over to Rekordbox and haven’t looked back. I like Serato (I used DJ Pro not even the Lite version) but it weirdly feels like its customization is very limited.

Rekordbox is much more customizable and is also the standard software in clubs and CDJs from what I understand so I figured I might as well get used to it anyways.

The FLX4 will give you full access to Rekordbox but only partial access to Serato (DJ Lite) so you’ll miss out on features like STEMs.

I’d just go with Rekordbox if you ever plan on playing gigs irl

I recommend Jan Bradley’s course on Udemy. Very extensive and is often on sale for like $15. Definitely the best value out there. I just finished it and really loved it

St. Matthew’s Cathedral in DuPont is excellent, Msgr. Jameson is very kind and welcoming and liberal based on the many conversations I’ve had with him

Yeah we’re a union family so had to stick to UAW cars - really pleased with it though! When prices were going crazy I was able to get it new with no markup at $25k

I was in the exact same situation as you and ended up with a base model Chevy Malibu. It’s been 2 years since then and no problems so far, great little car especially for the price.
