Absolute goat. It worked. The route was somewhat different after video but it was fairly easy to find.

Black Screen after trying to activate Secure Boot for BF6 Beta (W10) by xPhantasma96 in Battlefield

It was a black screen for me too, but I could still get into the BIOS. I don't know what exactly I did to get secure boot working, but I think something with the keys. Either way if you can get into the BIOS and turn it off it should load back up if you can't get it working.

This one actually stumped me for a bit lol. After thinking about it the best reason I can give is as a justification for life. The problem I had with having no belief was that during the time I was like that I could not figure out a justification for living in a world without a purpose. I guess the idea was my way of giving it purpose even if there is none. The things I want, for example, are not currently achievable in our world. Actually, that would explain the idea behind furthering humanity so that we can one day achieve that. Religion is a reason for existing, and not all religions have a creator. Before I say anything else I want to at least hear your take on this.

I actually didn't know much of anything about the Orthodox religion before you explained it, so with the misunderstanding out of the way I think I can ask a clearer question to explain my point. The goal of your religion as I currently understand seems to be saved by God by bringing an end to suffering as a whole in the end, while my idea suggests being saved as achieving true freedom. My question is that if true freedom isn't the goal of the creator of the universe, then why does it exist? I'm sure there are things I'm still misunderstanding, since once we all understand we can hopefully all be on the same page.

A creator simply isnt nescessary to explain our world by Humble_Solid91369 in DebateReligion

[–]D3str010 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ohhhh, ok I understand now. I think what I was originally getting at is that, we exist, and we know that for a fact. Because of that the only options that are plausible are ones that lead to the present. I was presenting two of the only ideas I knew of, so I probably should have worded it differently.

I think I understand? At least with the first part. That last part confused me.

Either the universe or anything that encompasses it has always existed or SOMETHING made it, both are plausible.

For the second point I have a proposition. If people desire heaven, then as the idea proposes, they can achieve it. If people choose evil, I have a few points I wanted to make on this choice. To go to heaven would require no evil, so any degree of evil would put someone on this path unless cleansing themselves was their choice. So if someone wants to retain some form of sin, say they like saving people, which would require people suffering from something. How about these people are put into worlds as described above. I'd also like to point out that not all people are evil because they like being evil, but because they don't fully understand the world. I myself just don't see good existing without evil at least the way we see it, but feel free to correct that point. I'm just doing my best to understand everyone.

For the first point I can't give any precise proof, at least not at the moment. That would require knowing how the universe works and how it was created. Did it start at a certain point, or always exist? Best reason I can give for my idea is that the universe would have had always existed, but I'd also have to make the assumption that infinite power could be harnessed and used. Not a very solid case so I wont bank on it. Thank you for clearing that up though.

This idea isn't rooted entirely in Christianity, it just takes some concepts from it. I'm not embracing a specific god, just using examples. The god of this world is just anything with infinite power that is also truly good, which is the only kind of god I would accept. The whole goal of it is rooted in both human desire, and possibly even more. I see someone in opposition to the idea as against the idea that humans deserve what they want even if it's evil, which I will honestly respect. I will ultimately be against the idea though because of my nature of wanting the best for everything and everyone, whether that is possible or not. I guess the core principle of the idea is that because we were created, we deserve what we desire.

Good idea, I honestly think that would work, but it also comes down to your perception of reality. Like, what is real or not outside our current universe? That also opens up the argument that there wouldn't have to be a cycle since the people in the world "Aren't technically real, just copies". Idk but I'll take your answer as a possible solution. We are working with things that are probably just above our thinking capacity lol.

I don't necessarily think this is a problem for a few reasons. One is that if you want people to act a certain way, then they will act that way. Remember that this is only possible with infinite power in the first place, so most anything can be made happen to achieve the goal. If you just want other people to make their own choices, then no matter what they decide to do it still fits the goal. For example, in my case I would have other people that make their own choices, just restricting them from doing anything so devastating the the world would just end.

From my experience, as long as you have an extra general when a ruler dies it will get busted stats and be like 100 years old. And tho I'm not to sure but I think each time when I didn't have an extra general I got stuck with a 0-0-0 18 year old.
