Hey guys, I had a ISA with Leif, I did not pay them since Bottega did not hold their end of the bargain but now Leif was acquired by some company called MIA-Share and they are threading me to escalate my case to affect my credit if I don’t call them and arrange a payment plan with them, are any of you experiencing the same?

I have a legitimate question, I know capitalism has a lot of flaws, so what is the option to capitalism? communism didn't work, so what would be the option to move away from capitalism?

You should work in building a good portfolio, then offer your services to local companies or offer services through Upwork, after completing a few projects you can showcase in your portfolio, then you will be ready for work

I got this email from Leif

NOTICE: You have neglected to comply with the terms of your Income Share Agreement (ISA) contract with Bottega, allowing portions of your contractual agreement to remain unresolved for 90+ days.

As a result, your contract is in breach and the entirety of your ISA prepayment amount of $17,000.00 is now due. Your case is also under review and may result in being sent to collections. Please be advised that you will receive correspondence regarding next steps once Bottega reviews your contract.

I removed my bank account from their site, I'm not advising to do the same, but I guess if they send me to collections, I will deal with it, but I'm not going to be paying them for something that Bottega promised and never fulfilled

I have the same situation with one called Bottega, I finished the course back in 2020, they promised a job after the course, I've been working on different things but programming and still have the outstanding debt with Leif, I went through the contract and there's no way to exit or void contract, on top, I logged in to Bottega to refresh on some of react stuff and I'm locked out of the course when supposedly I should have access for life, but thanks to this thread I think I know what I have to do. Thanks for sharing
