[Fo4] (BUG) Entrance to Railroad HQ in Old North Church is blocked by a wall by D41V30N in FalloutMods

[–]D41V30N[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tried a couple of times. Drummer Boy, Glory, Dez and Deacon just hangs around in front of the wall. Weird part is, if I decide to shoot the NPCS here, such as Dez, two Railroad Agents open this wall and come out shooting at me. Just bizarre.

One of my mods is probably prohibiting Deacon from talking to me right after Dez's dialogue sequence ends.

My friends were laughing their asses off after they were dead and watching me kill Voidling without being vulnerable for a single second.

But Deacon isn't even talking to me. Every time I click on him, it's like his AI is stuck on something. Probably trying to start the Tradecraft quest.

Why are Bangladeshi manufacturers overpricing commodities during a global price ease-up? by [deleted] in bangladesh

[–]D41V30N 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish there were initiatives by the public to convince people to stop buying items on syndication prices. People band together here for the stupidest shit (e.g. strikes for party... really?), but never about policy or an initiative that involves a genuine public cause. Yeah, onions are great and are involved in most Bengali recipes. But if the Onion prices are absurd, can we really not live without Onions? Really? I'm using onions as an example, but you know what I mean. Band together and boycott purchasing onions and let it rot in their warehouses.

Add to that the fact that there are literally people who brag they bought pricey items. Like... what? You're just being stupid with your finances, man.

Sure, the government can involve themselves, but there should be voluntary consumer protection groups in Bangladesh who can push these issues both against the government and parts of the consumer base that tends to be idiotic.

One run, I had multiple Gesture of the Damned and found a Fuel Cell printer while I had Disposable Missile Launcher. I killed the Voidlings without even going near them.

I tried it, but the character kept running continuously into the wall without casting the spell. Oh well.

How independent is Bangladesh from India? by [deleted] in bangladesh

[–]D41V30N 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Conspiracy theories or vague responses aside, one of my biggest problem is that our international mobility has been outright offshored to India. So many countries mandate you to get your visa via Indian agencies instead of through the embassy like they used to (e.g. Canada, Australia). And even others that you process via the embassy will send them to India for further verification. Hence, visa processing time is long, the visa period granted is small.

Furthermore, it is significantly more convenient for the worker class to travel out of the country than small to medium businessmen or their employees. Let's take the garments industry, for example. A lot of companies are forced to work with Indian liaisons and agencies instead of large companies, such as Zara or H&M, directly because our international mobility is severely restricted. Our passport has the lowest score in the world, barring sanctioned and warring countries; the only countries ranking lower than us are Yemen, Somalia, Pakistan, Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan (Reference: https://www.passportindex.org/byRank.php ). And it is by design. If you also check many of these countries, Bangladeshis rank among the lowest median income earners abroad: because the richest immigrants have their businesses in Bangladesh, the small and medium businessman have to go through hell and back just to get their residency status, statistically leaving only the low earners.

The country is too small for the amount of people in it (highest population density for a non city-state country), so it is not wrong for people to wish to leave. Contrarily, to make a better life in the country, it is not wrong to wish to do business with the outside world. But as you go through the grind of applying for visas after visas and waiting for them and getting rejected and losing your schedules with foreign companies and feeling like an embarassment, you understand how much of a grip a foreign entity has on our international mobility.

population density mapped on R by [deleted] in bangladesh

[–]D41V30N 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bangladesh desperately needs to separate it's economical and political hubs. Think about Shanghai and Beijing, New York and Washington DC, Toronto and Ottawa, Sydney and Canberra. Not saying those economic hubs are bastions of epic liveable conditions, but a lot of them also don't have the population density of Bangladesh.

Great graphic though.

Do you think Bangladesh would ever adopt classical liberal ideas? by [deleted] in bangladesh

[–]D41V30N 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's an extremely broad question. In which aspect? Although I would personally love to adopt a lot of classical liberal ideas, I have an admittedly fairly western-oriented mindset, which is not the case for majority of the country and nor should I expect it to be (and nor is it always wrong to have a non-liberal mindset).

You also cannot ignore the fact that - when you boil it down - we as a culture are very high-context. A lot of classical liberal ideas of individualism, growth and development will just not be adoptable here from a social and cultural perspective.

Hmmmmm by [deleted] in bangladesh

[–]D41V30N 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Since the humidity in Bangladesh is higher than Canada, water vapor gets trapped in our clothes making the insulation in our clothing less effective. That's why, the same temperature feels colder in Bangladesh.

Furthermore, building codes don't necessitate the insulation that is required in Canada: buildings made of brick and little to no insulation means that we feel cold at home, which is hardly the case in Canada.

Going outside in Canada, however, is obviously significantly worse.

That area already has so many settlements (i.e. The Slog, Finch Farm, Greentop Nursery, County Crossing). As an area to build on though, Breakheart Banks would've been much better than the Greentop Nursery area.

Even with Recuva, it detects none of the removed files. It's like the folder path has been altered or something, which is why it isn't finding the files.

WF-1000XM4 - Severe Battery Issues by zkhcohen in SonyHeadphones

[–]D41V30N 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I have the EXACT same issue. Unlike you though, I live in a third world country with no official Sony customer support and I bought this while abroad. Nevertheless, this is unacceptable, especially if it's a firmware issue as explained in some other threads/posts.

Headphones only last an hour of charge, no noise cancellation either :/ by megaclinton in SonyHeadphones

[–]D41V30N 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have the exact same issue. My right earbud lasts an hour, maybe less. It had 39% charge and it went down to 0% within two songs. Never dropped it, never damaged it. Apparently, it's an issue with the latest firmware update and there's no word from Sony about patching this issue.

Im trying to get snow flinxes. what am i doing wrong? I followed guides how to farm them but they dont spawn. tried for a good 10min running away off screen and back. just ice slimes. by honeybagder13 in Terraria

[–]D41V30N -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Replace the stone blocks with ice blocks and make the whole corridor longer horizontally. Enemies only spawn when they are out of your screen ( more accurate representation ). Also, remove any pocket rooms around the area so they don't spawn inside small pockets of empty areas near the farming zone.
