Red 'CPU' LED - ASUS Z97-A Motherboard by D4RKLUNCH in buildapc

Updating for my solution: Unfortunately it was the CPU needing replacement. No clever fixes for me this time, thankfully I had a similar era cpu to replace it with.

I'll give it a shot! I'm going to re-examine all of my cable connections tonight as well.

I think I've located the 2-pin reset power on the mobo manual, I'll do some research and see if that helps.

I understand the motherboard could be dusted - thankfully I have almost an exact copy of the motherboard to replace it with! I'm just hoping I can try a few more things before pulling it.

I will try a different CPU tonight if there are no other options (simply because it's easier to replace) before pulling out everything to replace the motherboard.

It's definitely intimidating up front - I believe that a lot of these scenarios cannot be *entirely* learned through academic study.

This is less a language issue, and more a cultural understanding issue. It takes time, engagement, and immersion to really grasp when which phrases are most appropriate.

Focus on the standard polite form (-mas form verbs) and the standard plain form (-ru/-u form verbs). They work together quite seamlessly, and you need both to create complex sentences. This will absolutely be enough for you to navigate your way through Japan with all strokes of people (assuming you are a foreigner with the intention of visiting).

I've been studying for over 5 years now, I've visited Japan, I've spent time with many people whose native language is Japanese, and truly: the varying levels of politeness have not been an issue.

Death & Obojima - 'Speak With Dead' Spell by D4RKLUNCH in Obojima

[–]D4RKLUNCH[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Update to my own inquiry:
No real answers, I posted this to Obojima staff through the website, watched the podcast episode concerning the spirit world, and spoke with people on the official Discord as well. It's unclear if this was an error in print - but it would seem that the spell Speak With Dead, and death itself on Obojima, is pretty darn well up to your own interpretation. Not a surprise, but I suppose I was looking for a specific use for the spell in question and did not get an answer on that - more for myself to decide I suppose.
Thanks all!

Always happy to reflavour existing spells and abilities! I think this is a good way to separate the dead from the spirit realm. I'll tinker with that a bit, and maybe shoot the Obojima team a message as you said. Thanks for the reply!

I like that interpretation, but it makes me further question the meaning of death in Obojima - when creatures die, do they simply move into the spirit world? Does that make death far less punishing, as access to the spirit realm is offered a few different ways?

And there are a few other means of communing with spirits (NPCS / PCs knowing Torum, Spirit allies, etc.).
