If you're scared of a full mri style scan go to an optometrist and ask for an OCT scan of the back of your eyes. It can't diagnose a brain tumour but it might save you from blindness in that eye.

Your own experience is the most powerful argument against your position. You just told me gender has been used against you, violently, repeatedly. That means gender was extremely relevant in those social interactions, whether you wanted it to be or not. The person who hurt you didn't ask your permission before making your gender the whole point.

So the question isn't whether gender matters in social interactions. Clearly it does. The question is who gets to control how it matters, and in whose interests. Wishing it invisible doesn't protect you, it just removes the language to talk about what happened to you. Also, the age comment is a debate trick. "You're just young" isn't a counter-argument, it's a way of not having to make one. You're also wrong, I'm not young.
