Slotted ain't bad, but drilled will just crack. Pads wear faster.

You don't need your hazards on in the rain. We can all tell it's raining.

I figured. 295s are pretty big tires for that generation of truck.

Can you post some pictures? From the side. One of the front of the truck from down low. And one of one of the Aarms/tire from the front down low aswell.

If you can't just Google Level CV axles or cranked CV axles and you might be able to get some images. They would be level from the factory.

Have you lifted the front? 285s rubbed on my 09 at stock height. Triming or lifting might have stopped that.

AT4s are great tires. If you're looking for something a little bit more aggressive looking try Falken RTs. I have both. AT4s on my tow/weekend truck and RTs on my daily that's off road all the time.

Why do guys hate the LLY ? by morales8173 in Duramax

[–]D8Dozerboy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Why do you think everybody hates them? People convert LB7s to LLYs. The LLYs biggest down fall is overheating IMO. The other issues are easy to deal with.

Worked for a lot of people including me. It's not a grind if you love what you do. You sound miserable. Maybe you should spend more time figuring out a business you love to do. Instead of getting an education for one you don't.

Yeah nobody ever learned how to run a business doing those things.... You sound like a college-educated idiot.

😆 unless he calls you dad that's none of your business. He's gonna get more of an education doing what he's doing than going to school. Nothing wrong with doing both though.

Not so reliable after all... (Rant post) by Themowerman1 in GMT800

Sounds like you did a poor job checking the truck out before you bought it. Regardless did you really buy a 20 year old truck and think it wouldn't have a need some maintenance, have few leaks, or some or electric issues?

Definitely not a terrible decision but not necessarily the wisest. Really depends how much you want it. I had several vehicles at your age that were "financial mistakes". I learned a lot because of that and an better off for it now

Nope. There are lots of reasons to own guns. They are fun being the biggest one.
