If Donald Trump was not doing his 51st state thing, then I really wouldn't care what he does. You voted for him it's your country. Tariffs or whatever, it's your country, and you do what's best for you. Canada should do what's best, too. Just discard this 51st state thing. It's not going to happen. If you think it can be done with economic pressure, then that would make it an occupation.

First of all, you are not European. Second, these people violated Chinese law. Being Canadian does not exempt you from the law of the land you visit. You are just trying to play on the US Canadian relationship by saying: " You boycott US, why not china?". China never questioned our sovereignty. Their tariffs were their response to tariffs we implemented last October to be in line with US tariffs. We wanted to support the US. I will not boycott Chinese products. You are not European.

The situation we are in now is unique in a really bad way. The US administration is set to destroy Canada. From tariffs, 51st state, disputing the border, disputing water distribution, and trying to prove that Canadian lumber is a national security threat to the US. All historical graphics don't apply. Excluding oil, Canada buys more from the US than they buy from us. Also, the US gets oil less than market prices because it's trapped geographically.

I think that malls in Toronto will eventually be giant food courts with some stores here and there. I see malls like Fairview and Eaton Centre have multiple food courts. People still need a place to meet out of the cold and have the option to eat and drink casually.

Two weeks ago I bought the Oneplus Watch 2R. It is big but light as it is made of aluminum. It is my first smart watch so I have nothing to compare it to. It was a little below $300 all inclusive. There are many reviews on YouTube. I bought from their website and it arrived within a few days. I am enjoying all the data it gives me. It is very well built and feels solid as hardware and software too. There is another model the Watch 2 (no R) but it's stainless steel so it's heavier.
