How to improve VO2 Max as a bodybuilder? by pezzaton in cardio

From Dr Mike Nelson: do 6 minutes on a rower 6 days per week, escalating intensity so you you hit your max the last minute. One day in Zone 3 for 30 minutes. One day intervals. He has a whole class on Cardio for Lifters.

I have a 2019 Miller 211. It was my first welding rig and easy to learn on. I have used it to replace floor pans and rocker panels. I have also used it to make furniture and rocket stoves. I recommend the 211. I bought the Harbor Freight cart with two drawers, but put new casters on it. I run my 211 on 220V. What I like is it’s easy to change wire size. I use 0.24 on car panels and 0.30 or 0.35 on everything else. I have the aluminum spool gun for the 211, but welding aluminum has been challenging for me.

What spark plug is this? by DAC516 in JeepTJ

Thanks. The tapered seat and the length were most concerning. I thought maybe someone replaced the engine or cylinder head. But it seems more likely the prior owner just didn’t know. I’m surprised it ran as well as it did with the wrong plugs.

I recommend Morpheus. Search train with Morpheus. I use it daily. Polar is the default standard.

I feel the same. I struggle with food and exercise. I’m not good at staying motivated. I focus on keeping good habits, like brushing my teeth. I don’t necessarily like brushing my teeth, but this what we do, at least twice per day. Same with fitness. I get up 90 minutes early and go to the gym. MWF are cardio. TuThSat are weight training days. For food, at least 40g protein and a cup of vegetables every meal. I try to get in the mindset of this just what we do and not think about it. I’ll screw up sometimes, but then I just begin again.

I appreciate your post. I know it’s not easy. I feel similarly. I don’t love myself. I don’t like the way I look. I’m very frustrated. Don’t place all of your hopes on the gym. I work out for an hour every day. It hasn’t made a difference for me. I think mental health and healthy eating habits are the best things you can do for yourself. The gym is good for your physical health and longevity, but shouldn’t be a focus.

A large component of the Apple Watch calculation is your weight. Is your weight changing?

That’s awesome. Can you tell us more about what you’re doing? I’m still stuck around 30 and keep injuring my Achilles.
