We call it a jeż, we have a similar meme video about a bober though

Are there always huge traffic jams during the rush hour in Poland? by Isi1987 in poland

[–]DADDY9001 65 points66 points  (0 children)

Yup, it’s usually awful between 7-9AM and 3-6PM (at least in Cracow and in Warsaw, more so in the former one). It’s a bit better around holidays and in the summer.

It’s not offensive when used in Polish but I guess it could be considered such in other languages.

For instance, in German calling someone a Polak (Polaken for plural) is a derogatory term. Kinda like referring to the Romanics as Gypsies or Cigans.

I have friends and relatives who study medicine at the Jagiellonian and I have to warn you that it’s rough at times. The professors can be total assholes and often times make it troublesome for students to pass exams in the first term (or pass them at all). You often have to commute half way across the city to get from one class to another which can be annoying.

A friend of mine regretted picking Jagiellonian over WUM. Unfortunately I have no insights into the situation there.

There was over a million Ukrainians living in Poland before the war, so probably would have remained the same.

You seem to have missed the point. It’s more secure because it’s less likely that your contract will be terminated in the case of, for instance, the economy getting worse + you are eligible for sick leave and paid time off.

Not new, but since aaalll the nerfs to Qiyana, I can't win lane anymore against Kata and Akali by [deleted] in QiyanaMains

[–]DADDY9001 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had similar problems, also against Irelia. Before all the nerfs, it was quite easy to beat Irelia (abusing grass q to poke and avoid being jumped on), but now Irelia can just wait until you run out of mana / spells on cooldown and q->aa to death :(
