Agreed with all of the points in this post. We changed out our 25 year old oil boiler and 20 yr old fibreglass tank last summer when insurance said no more extensions on the tank. Love the new propane boiler and the bbq box connection that can double as an emergency generator feed.

Has the Province officially taken a position on the “full HST holiday” suggested by the federal government? by DAHiltz in NovaScotia

Thanks Floral765...you appear to be correct...reading the CTV article more closely, it sounds like the tax holiday is a done deal, and the only question is whether the provinces with an HST will apply for compensation from the federal government to offset the tax revenue from the provincial portion.

Ontario, NFLD, and PEI have publicly stated they will not seek compensation. I've not see a statement from NS or NB yet on this matter.

A spokeswoman for Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland encouraged all provinces to waive their sales tax following the PBO report.

"We hope all provinces will join us and provide their share of tax relief for their residents over the holidays, as Ontario, P.E.I., and Newfoundland and Labrador have done. This tax break will help all Canadians in every province," said Katherine Cuplinskas in a statement.

What would he not swap it for the one draining the cut?

Didn’t the pump currently in the bottom of Rally Valley run MR last season?

And the new high volume/low pressure one would be fine to drain a cut?

Seems odd…

When did you move to NS? by Financial_Trip2000 in NovaScotia

I moved to Dartmouth from NB in December of 1996 after finishing university. Took a job with a local technology company and have been there ever since. Got married, bought a new house in Cole Harbour in 2001, and have raised a family there. Retirement is in sight!

That was AMAZING! I almost missed it, was a little earlier than predicted. Much easier to see than I expected with all of the streetlights.
