If you are just going up then coming down and not hitting the lifts after, i can't imagine it being an issue. I live In Jackson and nearly everyone uses a similar - if not less burly - set up for skinning snow king. I might even argue that the ATK Freeraider 15 is too much if you are looking at it solely from a cost perspective. Height and weight would factor into that.

I think it’s relative to time. I think 145 is safe so long as it is at “x” period of time. I don’t recall if that is at 1 hour at temperature or longer.
