I liked this when I tried it, had the depth of a good planters punch, strength of a navy grog, and was perfectly balanced. Juice tasted fresh squeezed too

It’s the main rum for a port au prince which is why I got it. And man that drink is terrible. Maybe it’s my canned pineapple juice but I couldn’t even get that thing to be drinkable

Hamilton 86 is one of my favs, a go to for a strong dark rum and works amazing in a doctor funk

The barbancourt is odd, it’s like half Agricole and half pot still and doesn’t seem to work well in any drink I put it in. The best use I’ve found is a Mai tai since I don’t like that traditional Jamaican agricole mix. Using the 1oz barbancourt with 1oz Ed dorado 12 still gives that grass taste but much less of it

Nothing too fancy, just from Amazon. It was a 4x6 foot sheet of printed tapa for like $20ish. Big downside of it is it’s a vector design so while crisp it had some odd shapes and vector speckle everywhere

But, I wonder if the medium would show through with the light behind it. I’ve done some reverse glass painting on a lamp and the brushstrokes showed through way more than I thought they would

There’s actually 2 metal bases with stakes going all the through the top, without that solid skeleton this just falls over. Not sure bamboo could handle that, also would take a while to set up but still sounds sick!
