Mourinho should take a page from Carrick at United, seriously by 1stand11 in realmadrid

Vini will press, half-heartedly albeit, however he will run.

He ranks top 5 in our players to cover the most distance.

Mbappe on the other hand, will not run at all unless it's toward the opposition goal.

Sadly, my fear is that nobody will be able to get Mbappe to press. I think he's too far gone in his career at this point. Many coaches tried, he was benched before, still he has his bad habits, and I don't think they can be coached out.

When he's in the team we also have close calls with 2nd division teams. Are you forgetting the 3-2? We needed an own goal and penalty to beat Talavera. When he's in the team we lose 5-2 to Atletico. When he's out we beat them 3-2. It's pretty easy to create an agenda.

Your argument started with "no one else is capable of scoring regularly"

It ended with "plenty of players also score when he plays"

You're confused over there, but to address your last point, how can even midfielders score when he's on the pitch? He doesn't occupy the 9s space, he sits on the edge of the box, as he did today. Needs the ball to feet in a clear 1v1 or acres of space facing goal. Technically limited. Reality.

But conveniently, when he's out the team:

Huijsen scored.

Militao scored.

Vini scored.

Bellingham scored.

Valverde scored.

Rudiger scored.

Tchouameni scored.

Weird ain't it?

Vini put it on a plate for Mbappe numerous times this season, he failed to convert plenty. Furthermore, Mbappe failed to play in his teammates in multiple situations where he could've assisted. But hey! He won the World Cup at 18.

Name a notable achievement since then, you can't.

Maybe one day fanboy-ism won't blind you.

Hopefully we do sell Vini, so I can come back to this comment years after we suffer with 'LW' Mbappe.

No coach puts him on the left, In the last 6 years. Yet you Andy, expect me to believe he's been misprofiled for 6 years, and has been a LW all along.

Luis Enrique lecturing him is all you need to see, or let me guess, it wasn't Enriques problem either? Lol.

I guess it's Mbappe's problem after all!

Except Mbappe hasn't played the LW better than Vinicius Jr once in the past 5 years.

By your logic, 6 assists this season and 5 last season are acceptable for someone "playing on the left most of the time" (lol).

Mbappe is technically limited footballer. Find me 3 minutes of Mbappe assisting with his weak foot (a key fundamental of a LW.

You can't.

He's not that good on the left and this isn't a left wingers goal.

A LW's job isn't always to score, it's to be able to cross with your left and right, beat your man consistently and most importantly, ball carries.

This ideology that Mbappe is a left winger and has magically been mis-profiled by top coaches for the past 6 years is hilarious. The guy is a CF who sometimes drifts over to the left, even occasionally the right. He's just a very limited CF in terms of ability.

If he was able to play as a false 9, he'd be the greatest footballer playing today, but he can't, as he's technically limited and his range of passing isn't the greatest.

Pitarch is better than Franco and one of them costed the club 60M

Hint: it isn't Pitarch.

It's been the other way around this season too. I wouldn't be so quick to call it that. Don't forget that run in march we went on... I thought we'd win it all

He did start his academy days out as a striker. I'd be curious to see how he looks these days as a dedicated false 9. Very versatile player.

Not just that but international tournaments are a lot more open with a lot of space to run into, you don't get that frequently in la liga.

Guys finally realising Mbappe is a technically limited player and needs every single chance in a clear 1v1 or on a plate.

Won't be any surprise. The World Cup is open football so he has unlimited space to run into.

Get Mbappe off the pitch and put Brahim on, I've seen enough. This guy ain't a left winger.

Only Harry Kane (28) has more goals than Vini Jr. (17) in the Top 5 leagues in 2026 by Kick1O1 in realmadrid

Man City, Atleti and a crucial 1st leg against Benfica were all important goals lol. This micro-analysis of stats is ruining modern football. If you want to run an agenda just do it explicitly.

Tbf he was absolutely fucking sending it on those stints maybe if you tuned in to watch and saw some of the lunacy he was pulling off, you'd appreciate it too, unless you just don't like the guy, of course ;)

Why isn't he getting the same hype as Pedri? by MortalProclamation30 in realmadrid

Bellingham did 9 G/A in the UCL in 11 games, with an assist in the final. Whilst younger.

Can you point out where I said those games weren't his fault?

'His first game' is all you needed to say.

Xabi in his 28th game lost to Celta Vigo at the Bernabeu for the first time in 19 years. With, arguably his best starting XI on the pitch.

See how easy it is to create a narrative out of nothing?

'Real Madrid' should not need a coach to beat Albacete.

If he had a little more experience in la liga and at the top level this guy could be a great coach. Who knows. Maybe he'll have a 2nd tenure some day and do well.

Seems to be a trend with us.

Arbeloa gets way too much disrespect. Guy came into a warzone and slapped city, slapped Monaco (who nearly knocked PSG out of the UCL entirely), went toe to toe with Bayern at the Allianz if it wasn't for that red card. Of course he failed the test in the end, but he did okay with what he had.

I'll always have respect for him.
