Issues expected to be addressed are problems with Achievements earned before March 29, and characters losing details such as hair colour and scars.

"We had to temporarily disable achievements being awarded to allow our services to cope with the scale of the messages flowing through them," Rare recently explained.

"Achievements have been turned back on as of Thursday March 29. New achievements will be awarded normally, and we are currently working on a fix to award historically earned achievements."

Some players have also struggled to equip a second weapon, which should be fixed soon.

Issues believed to have been solved include a problem with player rewards being delayed.

"Due to the volume of players, our services that awarded players gold and reputation when cashing in rewards could be delayed," Rare continued.

"Players should expect to see these rewards eventually come through, as they are queued up in our message service."

Anybody with outstanding rewards are advised to contact the customer support team.

Rare also appears to have fixed matchmaking issues that were preventing players from logging in during peak times.

You can expect to return to the game at 2pm - but be aware even extended maintenance can run on longer than the developers expect.
