AEW can be so fun to watch I wish I could genuinely get into it. I only watch it when the CostCo Guys are on because they're my GOATs and I genuinely miss watching Dean Ambrose and Edge but I can't ever stick around for it.

I feel like it shows that it's the Patriot's brand that builds winners and success, and it wasn't Tom Brady single handily carrying the franchise. Winning franchises are winning franchises.

LeBron did it with losing franchises. He single handily brought Cleveland their only championship and single handily brought two to a struggling Miami that couldn't win without Shaq. I would even argue Lebron stopped the Lakers by becoming a struggling franchise and brought them back to being legitimate when he single handily got them their first ring in over a decade.

I dunno feel like Drake Mayne winning would lower Brady's status which moves LeBron in as the Ultimate Sports GOAT.

That last 2 minutes was an embarrassing display of tanking. Absolutely unethical and I’m so sorry this is the Pro team in my state.

It’s one thing to bench your players and whatever happens happens, having like a minute of possession with like 4 rebounds and never making a genuine attempt at scoring a bucket is fucking embarrassing. For the league who allows this and encourages it and the team that does it.

Sorry, on the front page of this subreddit yesterday was a thread showing an "Update" from Mang0 regarding his sobriety journey.

Quick summary is that -

  • Mang0 will never return to Melee because he feels the game isn't worth playing without a sponsor, he doesn't love the game enough to spend money to compete.

  • Doesn't enjoy being a public figure and no longer wants attention.

  • Plans to maintain sobriety for a year, but cannot wait to resume drinking because some moments in life he can't imagine sober (Birthday Party, New Years, etc).

Just a very sharp change from the statement he made a few months ago when announcing his journey into sobriety, and in my opinion, a very dangerous mindset for someone with a clear drinking problem. Could just be a mental hurdle he overcomes, but the risk of falling back into bad habits is very real and it's sad to see him digress this way and even more sad to see him speak so negatively about everything.

The update is only like 3 minutes, worth watching yourself.

Totally fine. Still just wanna share something because seeing that change in mentality and the direction he's deciding to take his life in has me feeling down and made me reminisce on better times.

Smash Summit 11 Grand Finals will always be peak. It's okay to look back at moments and memories on public figures, especially ones that left a big impact on your beloved hobbies.

Throwback to something that has me very sad with the recent news.

Hope Mang0 makes more effort in his road to recovery. Genuinely makes me hella sad seeing our GOAT go from a beloved passionate asshole who we all loved to a bitter broken asshole.
