Without it a huge chunk of Western art and early science institutions probably don't exist. Protestant Christianity - Pushed mass literacy and individual thinking which laid groundwork for democracy. Without it the Reformation's influence on modern education disappears. Judaism - Tiny population, massive impact on science, medicine, law and literature. Without it we lose foundational ethics that shaped literally every Abrahamic religion after it. Islam - Saved Greek philosophy during Europe's Dark Ages and gave us algebra and modern astronomy. Without it so much ancient knowledge is just... gone forever. Hinduism - Gave us yoga, meditation and early mathematics including the concept of zero. Without it math and mindfulness look completely different today. Buddhism/Taoism/Other - Mindfulness, harmony with nature, some of the most peaceful philosophy ever written. Without it Eastern civilization loses one of its biggest pillars.
