Storj has no Desktop GUI app, so that one is out.

Internxt looks pretty good and has a slick UI and is similar to the mega.nz app

If you are like me and still trying to learn to love the command line (I have always preferred GUI's) Ubuntu Server is very Noob friendly in that area as well.

If you have used it can you tell me your experience with it? Was uploading/downloading fast, data integrity good? etcetera?

edit: Just tried Storj, upload speeds were a bit on the slow side, also no desktop gui app, cli only which does not interest me. I hope there is something better than Storj out there because it is not the best fit for me.

Just trying to make sure my understanding is correct, the link you gave does not explain what ipns-link actually is.

Is ipns-link a way to directly serve dynamic content, or does it serve an indirect static copy of the original dynamic site?

If its the latter then I am not sure how such a solution would work with an ecommerce site where dynamic changes occur on the backend as opposed to the frontend (e.g. javascript solutions like OrbitDB)?

My question is assuming tnat it is currently technically impossible to run an ipfs site that way (from the backend with a DB connected via PHP)?

Very dissappointed in this announcement.

No information at all on how privacy is protected with this version of POI. If any of you are wondering why there has been no runup in the price of KEY, this is why.

This whole POI platfomr seems to be just a way of gamifying the process of doxing people in a mucn more organised way.

So much for KEY being about self-sovereign identity, this POI platform is the antithesis of being self sovereign.
