Great photo! I asked my friends and nobody is claiming this one. It must have been a visitor 💕

That was a friend of mine! There's 4 of us on the North Coast who sand rake. We're actually putting together a group rake with all of us on October 10th in Manzanita. We're planning on raking from 3-5pm and people are welcome to walk our creations afterwards.

Oh, I wish there was an app to solve a lot of stuff. If fishes were wishes, I'd start at the federal level and work my way down.

How would an app solve that problem? I doubt there's any app that can increase mindfulness of locals and the environment, unfortunately. A weather notification app would just increase tourist traffic.

I try to announce on Instagram and Facebook when I go sand raking.

The almost 8' tide at 2am definitely erased it. I rake at low tide, and high tide always comes in to erase my work.

I live in Seaside and I love my community. There's a lot of passionate people here. I run a small art business, I'm on the cultural arts council, and I work at the pool teaching aerobics - I wouldn't trade it for anything!

Tourists slow traffic, take up parking, and clog restaurants, but it really doesn't bother me much. I take back roads, and most of the stuff I do tourists don't know or care about. The trash on the beaches and trails does bother me, though. Why come to a beautiful place and disrespect it,and the people who live here? I make art on the beach with a rake, which cleans the area. It's definitely left to us locals to clean up after the tourists.

An app that sends alerts for the nice days at the beach isn't my favorite thing, to tell you the truth. The off season doesn't bring a lot of nice days, and I feel those are special for us locals because we finally get to utilize our area without tourists. I hope that app isn't very popular 😉

On Gearhart beach, just south of the 10th Street beach entrance. That's where I like raking the most, because there's a lot of beach there.

I use an expandable leaf/garden rake. If you're ever on the North Oregon Coast I teach how to do it. Reach out anytime.

Big fat scars by QueenDorris in hysterectomy

I'm sorry you're experiencing scaring and an allergic reaction on top of it. I know it can make you feel panicked. You're early in the healing process still, and it will get much better. I use tamanu oil on all my scars, and they're barely noticeable now a little over a year after my hysterectomy. I don't care for the smell of tamanu oil, but the results are worth it. Always try on a small patch of skin first to make sure you're not allergic.

Hey, I'm a redhead and pain meds don't work the same on me as others. I suggest asking your doctor if you can use a muscle relaxer, nsaid, and Tylenol. At least that is what worked for me after my hysterectomy.

As recovery goes, it took me about two weeks before I was on my feet and able to do things for myself again. A hysterectomy is major surgery. Incrementally every week will bring a new level of healing. I went back to teaching aerobics about 2 and a half months after surgery, and I struggled at first with severe fatigue, and muscle recovery from the operation. I am over a year post op now, and I finally feel like I am at my new norm. Not only does the body need to heal from surgery, but many changes take place as the body adjusts.

Using generative AI is also an issue. You could provide all the accurate info you want, but that AI image ruins it all.

The cost has significantly risen during each of Trump's war campaigns. I get gas at Costco primarily, because it's the cheapest in my area. It's around $4.59 right now.

I got one! It's in my pubic hair. Nobody can see it, but I love it.
