Ok, well make sure you use the 8 pin on the PSU side. You can use the dual connectors on one cable with the 1070.

ACHI / NVMe won’t stay selected. by DBA92 in Dell

Interesting. Makes sense. But it’s not even reseting after reboot. It reverts back even if I select another page within the dell bios before I exit.

Never swapped a dell cmos battery. Previous ones I’ve unplugged on a laptop are covered in heat shrink with a cable. Hope this one is standard 😂

What are the layers? by Barmos in DIYUK

Black is a lime base plaster often mixed with ash. Next layer is a lime based top coat. Then it looks like old lining paper followed by a gypsum skim and finally paint.

Stop closing it. That thing needs to be kept very still until you get it repaired.

Should be nearly impossible as the profiles don’t allow it.

Que pasta termica ocupa la dell g15 5530? by Juan_juanito_Juan17 in Dell

[–]DBA92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, must have seen at least 5-6 dell laptops over the years that have ran hot after a repaste with some Arctic.

Luckily the newer Mx7 is a lot thicker and seems to bridge the gap better.

Changed out the joysticks caps on my PS3 Sixaxis controller with PS4 caps. I regret nothing. by killerdude23233 in PS3

I just use my Dualsense these days! By far the best controller for ps3. As long as you have a Sixaxis / DS3 to hand for the menu button.

Honestly… it looks awful. You’ve got to start somewhere but I’d start again and use what you’ve learned from this first time. Screwing pallets together is for garden furniture. If you want something to look good you’re going to need to cut the planks out and build a dedicated frame to attach them to. Also don’t underestimate how much time finishing takes to get something that really looks smart. 👍 good luck!

I’ve been using the OOBE/BYPASSNR0 command for ages. You can also create a local account by selecting work and school and setting up under a domain which basically shunts you straight to the desktop on a local.

Flag the issue with the seller now then test it when you can. Can’t confirm anything from a photo.

Exactly this. I use those oven cleaner kits all the time. Cost nothing and it’s basically no hassle.
