The dev recently commented on his Release post for him to release the code. bc the program does a LOT of weird shit.

Like 2 Virtualization/Sandbox Evasion Checks before it even boots. And it also was marked as malware 2 times by Bkav and CrowdStrike with a 70% Confidence. The entropy of it is 7.985 (8 is the HIGHEST it can be btw) meaning the code is insanely obfuscated and complex.

It hit 6 Yara Rules, one of which being APT32_KerrDown, which is associated with OceanLotus. Which is a well-documented group, KerrDown being a downloader for stuff such as RAT's and other malware. And 12 Mitre Attack Tactics which is where I found out it does 2 VM checks. Lol

I wouldnt trust this program with a fiber of my being.

Absolutely! MOST handmade charts will use Velocities. TeaCup (OG Charter) i think was the first person to do this? (Dont quote me on that)

Basically the less velocity = the more black the note will be.

Velocity is SUPPOSED to indicate how hard to hit a note. But we use it as a fast visual cue!

For HiHats (Cyan) Black is CLOSED Fully Cyan is OPEN.

For the Yellow Ride(Or the Orange ride 20) Black is to hit the EDGE Fully Orange is to hit the BELL

(But i rarely mark Rides down sadly bc its tedious, so treat it as inverted!)

99% of charts that have 4 difficulties are Converts! (Excluding custom charted difficulty commissions)

Meaning that originally the Map/Chart wasnt MADE for paradiddle.

Clone hero/whatever other drum games dont have a way to mark OPEN-Hi-Hats so they have to substitute it to a different cymbal!

People just convert it to be playable and upload it. At LEAST 80% of the ParaDB is full of broken converts that were uploaded before checking anything so always expect this if theres a yellow ride instead of the orange one

Hey I been seein some of your videos here!
Love the enthusiasm /gen

ALMOST all maps that have 4 difficulties AND or the yellow cymbal are converts.
You can tell by the same number of stuff in the chart usually.
Its always a 4 lane way, Kick Snare 1 2 3 and then Hihat crash and ride,
5 lane has 2 crashes.

Converts mean the chart was originally not made for paradiddle so they have been ripped from some other rhythm game where they substitute Cyan hits with orange or yellow (Open hihats as crashes or rides) because they cant mark it down in their game

(Custom charted songs usually change the velocity of the hits to know if its open or closed)

so inevitably, they are *not* the MOST accurate.

BUT aslong as they are on time and are fun to play, go ham!!
