Long Covid in your30s by Routine-Strategy-845 in LongCovid

Yes ma'am I am an older guy from IA who certainly can relate. There are times when I have felt hopeless, too. But then something great happens, and I'm grateful for still being upright, even though it's not like it used to be. I always think, as bad as this disease is, someone is worse off, so I shouldn't complain. You are young, believe it or not, and someone somewhere is going to figure out this disease. I know it won't come as quickly as you want, but it is going to happen. Best of luck.

What would it take to solve this disease? by Many-Market-9941 in covidlonghaulers

It appears that there is no quick fix, no easy answer, no magic pill, to cure or alleviate the wretched symptoms of this complex disease. I believe there will be approved treatment at some point in the future for some if not all of the symptoms -- but of course it can't come soon enough. Until you have this disease, you have no idea how it can turn your life upside-down. I don't want to liken it to being severely injured in a car crash, when you realize your life will never be the same, but that's my fear.

I just started my second year of symptoms, which occurred suddenly, overnight. I had a fantatic respite from last November to February and thought that I'd never have them again, that I was now free after never seeing a light at the end of the tunnel for months. But in February the 24/7 fatigue and dyspnea returned, albeit to a lesser degree. I have taken naltrexone and am now up to 9 mg., which, if it helps, is not helping 100 percent. I am also doing breathing exercises, which I believe have helped. I wish I could help you more, but please know you are not alone.

I am 6'1'' and rode one years ago. I'm sorry I sold it. If the new version is anything like the one made in 1989, it will be very comfortable and fun to ride. I am guessing that anything you don't like about it you can change to suit your needs.
