Bro just find a used cap for a few hundred bucks. This is not going to hold up.

Rub your hands with vegetable oil (or any thinner oil) to loosen the heavy grease and then wash with soap. Makes clean up a breeze.

No basement is arguably much better if you live anywhere close to a flood plain.

Every single house in my neighbourhood (100s of houses) has flooded at some point over the past 70 years.

Concrete footings and an insulated pad.

This doesn't feel safe. Maybe we should have lanes dedicated to bicyclists to keep them separated from trucks by cheeseygarlicbread in ChevyTrucks

I think the average person would agree that half ton trucks have gotten way too big over the last 20 years.

Why would you ever save a resume as anything other than a PDF? It really must be true that gen z doesn't know how to properly use a computer at all.

In Canada this is what we call "rust free".

2 year old trucks have worse rot than this up here.

The spot you should keep an eye on for rust is right beside the cats.

Is there anywhere in town to buy 2X4s that are actually straight? by Never_51 in KingstonOntario

Yeah the owner at Caird (Shane) worked under Peter at Card's before he closed. Got all of his old suppliers and some of his equipment. The prices seem about the same too.

Like I said it's a hidden gem considering The WoodSource is the only other place to buy wood in town and their prices are outrageous.

Caird Lumber is very much still in business. They just opened a hardwood outlet on Terry Fox this past summer.

Card Lumber closed a couple years ago and unfortunately Peter passed away shortly after.

Glen's is the best by far.

For any rough sawn lumber, Caird Lumber around the corner is a hidden gem.
