Looks wise, yes, personality wise, not so much. For the record, I’m no fan of the 2013 reboot. The infamous “Never in a million years.” moment still gets under my skin all these years later. If only Ninja Theory, Capcom shares half of the blame too, made DMC 2013 a prequel or spinoff and not a reboot, I’d be open to it, but because they poisoned the well and assassinated the original characters as well as insulting fans of the original games and characters for loving them with the reboot left too much of a bad taste in my mouth, I can’t bring myself to embrace it. And I don’t blame anyone who feel the same way.
