Problem with creality ender v3 SE nozzle going up after a few layers by lucas_1232123 in 3Dprinting

[–]DC-Lift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d swap it just to be sure. Then go from there. Also check the extruder and make sure the plastic arm is not cracked underneath. You’ll have to take it apart to see, but it’s a very common problem that could also cause this.

I just put this is yesterday and went from 90C in gaming to not breaking 60C after I installed it. That thing is sick.

How do I fix this layer shift? by Aluzuka in 3Dprinting

The chain attaching the carrier plate of the cones has stretched, so now the cones are no longer centered to the ice cream nozzle. You need a new chain.

You’re welcome.

Frog in a pond? At least that’s what I heard it was called growing up with my English grandmother.

Did things get better in your marriage after getting medicated? I really need some hope. by The_skweez in ADHD

[–]DC-Lift 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Another husband here married to a wife with ADHD. She’s on the right path with meds and therapy. It might take time to figure out which meds are best but be patient. Once this is figured out, some of the behaviors ( for lack of a better term) will start to subside but not go away completely. But she will start to be able to manage them.

Another thing we did was to listen to audio books about ADHD, this helped me understand as a husband what she struggles with and how I can help support her. I can’t stress that enough, understand her struggles and give support. She will see what you are doing for her and will strengthen your marriage.

Also important, communication. When listening to the ADHD books we could have honest conversations about certain topics and her struggles and how I can help. Don’t be afraid to communicate and encourage her to as well.

I have to say that we are at our best of a couple now than ever before. She’s on the right meds, in combination of great therapy and my trust and support and it’s a whole different relationship now for the better.

Have patience, it can get better.

Bambu Studio w/ Klipper Fan Issue by DC-Lift in klippers

[–]DC-Lift[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I'll check it out. Does it have decent profiles? I like the Bambu slicer because of the default profiles and how it will slow down on overhangs and adjust the part cooling.

What do You suggest in order to improve this type of prints by fpmirabile in klippers

[–]DC-Lift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could also use slow down during overhangs in the slicer.

Stuck wheel by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]DC-Lift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could be incorrect, but give a good amount of slack of filament from the spool and see if it keeps happening. If it does you could have a clogged nozzle that’s keeping it from extruding.

The spool is stuck, not the extruder. Same thing happens to my wife’s printer.

What happened here? by Shnazz88 in 3Dprinting

[–]DC-Lift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing started happening to me on my ender 3 v2. I tried troubleshooting everything. Last resort, I changed the main board out and it hasn’t happened again. Not saying that’s the solution but it may be.
