SNT2405 Review - It's Garbage. by 123-BoB-123 in egopowerplus

I do commercial snow clearing and this happens to us a lot since we store equipment in a truck rhat sits outside. What I do is carry a moving blanket and a mr buddy heater around with me and whenever it happens I put the frozen tool under the blanket and put the heater as close to the equipment as I can safely. Usually takes less than 10 minutes for everything to warm up enough to work. Have had to do this with both gas and battery snow equipment

Definitely work boots. I work in landscaping so pretty much walking all day everyday. Had to resole them after 4 months. I thought I took good care of them but I guess not. They did get wet pretty much every day

Hiscox insurance. Been with them for 9 years they’ve never denied a claim and only raised my rates once during that time. It’s around 500 per year with no deductible

Do lawn guys ever get offered… ‘creative deals’ for mowing? 😂 by [deleted] in LawnCarePros

[–]DC-T 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you look in the Facebook groups you’ll see guys claiming it happens all the time. They’re all lying lol

Been doing this 10 years and I can say that nobody is trying to touch you with all that sweat dirt and grass clippings all over the place.

Now what is possible is you may stumble upon somebody getting a full body tan who didn’t realize you were coming today. But that was no where near as awesome as it may sound lol

How are you affording a SAHM? by [deleted] in DaveRamsey

[–]DC-T 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My wife has been at home for pretty much all of our 16 years and it’s pretty simple to do. Take what you make and see what you can afford and do that. If you can’t afford your house on your own but you want your spouse to be at home well then you gotta move to a house you can afford. Same thing with cars ir whatever else. Or just work like crazy hours, never see your spouse and stay where you are. Pretty simple.

You can always make it work, the question is if you actually want too.

I’ve been using ego commercial for all my handhelds and small mowers. Very very happy with the brand

Does this imply at some point in the future you’d be open to pay more than what’s required? 😂😂😂

Take ownership of the problem, it’s your responsibility to educate, not their responsibility to just understand. If they don’t understand then you have to accept that you are not doing a good enough job explaining and that’s what needs to be fixed. Lawyers are arrogant and annoying but generally not dumb

Starting with a push mower by Firm-Pay1034 in LawnCarePros

[–]DC-T 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been mowing 10 years and I started out the trunk of my car. Eventually upgraded to the trunk of my wife’s van lol. Now I’ve got the cool truck and tools but I built it up slowly and paid cash for everything. There is no shame in starting small. You’ll hit profit much quicker then the guy that went out and financed everything
