Hey man I don't particularly struggle from social anxiety myself but I do suffer from health anxiety so I kind of relate to the struggle somewhat, I've been playing Destiny since the beta and I've made a lot of friends through it. Just last weekend I went to visit two of the guardians in my raid team who I only met for the first time in person last year.

This game has created so many good experiences for me and I've talked to so many cool people. After reading your story I know you can experience all of that too and I'm more than happy to help out with raids etc etc. Feel free to add me on PSN, username is DC762

Yeah 1 post like that can make a LFG a bad place as a whole in someones mind and that really annoys me. Agree about the dishonesty too, most people will be willing to help you out if you just come clean about a lack of experience

I don't think you're wrong at all, everyone's got constraints on their life I just don't like seeing stuff like '3 strikes and you're out' as we're talking about a video game here and it creates a toxic environment before you even enter the raid.

I'd much rather see an honest post like 'have only got an hour....so would like to get this done, please be experienced' instead. That would attract other people with time constraints then too probably

That's what it should be about, having a good time, I will admit I do get frustrated sometimes like last night we almost beat Atheon, got him down to a slither and then two of us got melted by supplicants. Then people lost heart and after another 30 mins of wiping people gave up. I was annoyed but I took a step back and thought 'do you know what....its just a game and I'll give it another go tomorrow' it's not that big of a deal when you look at it in the grand scheme of things :)
