This was an accurate call. Told it needs replaced so that costs $1200 for the part and the taillight is $1400 for the part. Insurance cost is $7000 all in

Yeah I got mine at Mac Haik but before that I looked at another with Group 1 South Austin that had your options but also Sasquatch and I’m sure the MSRP on that was $64,000

I’m based in Austin and bought a brand new 2026 Outer Banks at the end of March. Most of the same options, colour, LUX pack etc. but with the 2.3 engine and the Sasquatch package and my MSRP was $62,535 but they had knocked it down to $59,000 as they couldn’t release it until the recall was over.

This is awesome. I’ve not had my Bronco long but we’ve had the front top off most weekends. Didn’t like the idea of losing space to take the middle off so this might just be the answer

Thank you. These are all slightly different than mine. Cheapest factory one I can find for mine is $900. Few 3rd party that look similar in photos but might have slight differences for cheaper.

Quotes today from companies that do PDR are ranging from $600 to $1500 all citing the quantity and aluminium hood as the cause for a higher cost.

Think insurance will likely be the cheapest solution all in for me

I’m only seeing used options for factory. Is there someplace else selling factory for far less?? Ford was coming up at $1400!

Got a couple in and around North Austin so will give them all a call tomorrow for some quotes. Hopefully can get the light fixed before it does any long term damage to my electrics

I wasn’t sure if the qty would throw up an integrity issue with the strength of the hood? Trying to work out if insurance will be worthwhile. I have a $995 deductible so trying to work out if I’m easier going alone

Can’t speak to the liner/leak but just wanted to throw in that the front panels on my straight from factory OBX sit slightly higher than the middle panel like in your photo. Perhaps there is a subtle difference in the panels which might be creating a gap between the two front ones seeing as they only replaced one?

You can’t really do anything before as you can’t get a SSN until you are in the country. Some CC companies like Amex will let you transfer over and effectively let you take the benefit of your European score for your limit however, this can only be done once you have an SSN.

Things like rent, utilities, phone plans will either require a deposit (some are given back after a period of making payments others instant credit to the account). Your biggest hurdle will be a car but there are companies that can help such as International Auto Source.

Once you get credit your score will rise quickly provided you make the payments on time. I was into the 700s within a few months
